　Nowadays many people prefer recreational activities because it plays a significant role in our daily life.Generally，its advantages can be seen as follows。 On the one hand，Recreational activities can make people feel very relaxed, reducing the pressure.  On the other hand，recreational activitiesare good to people’s health,such as do sports, go dancing, go to the movies，play  online games or surf the Internet.
　But everything can be divided into two。 The negative aspects are also apparent。 One of the important disadvantages is that They indulge in many recreational activities, will not control themselves and rational use of. To make matters worse，it affects the normal learning and living.
　Through the above analysis，I think as a student, we must stop before going too far, do not addicted to them!

    "I am tired of doing assignments"said jim.
    "well, let's go and play basketball" Tom replied.
    Basketball as well as football and so many other sports, apart from the professioinal atheletes, to our ordinary people, it means recreational activities. other than sports, there are also recreational activies in different forms, dance, sing in KTV, Play cards,dining together even dring, all can be mentioned as recretional activites.
   There is a saying"all work and no play make jim a dull boy". it stresses the importance of recreational activities. The heathy activities are benefical to us both physically and mentally.You may have this expeirence: reading a book or writing an essay for a long time,and then do some exercise, and then you feel refreshed. besids, as we all know, exercise do good to help us keep heathy and fit and the reason and benefit is listless.
   However, the improper activities and unhealthy ones, say ,drink will also do harm.so for the sake of our health, we should to take part in healthy recreational activities as much as we can and avoid unhealthy ones effectively.

We seem to have forged a deep bond with titillation and entertainment since we enter the university. The college offers its students a wide variety of amusements. A variety of group organizations let us to believe otherwise that the life full of variety. Therefore, we began to join all kinds of socializing.  We felt intense pleasurable excitement since we joined these activities.  Our ability of social intercommunication and solving complicated problems has been fully developed.

However, will there is any side effect when we joined activities too often?

Of course, there must be some lagged effects. Such as: we will be lectured at on our spending habits; the activities wiled us from our study; and so on.

As a college student, it is necessary for us to join some social activities. These activities could help us to improve our communication language ability, at the same time, our comprehensive quality as well as the ability is improve too. But, we must realize that we are students now.

  With countries developing, all over countries people have many many wealth. Our lives are not poor than before. Eat is not concern to us. It's that say material life is not concern. It's very popular for spiritual life to us. The so-called spiritual life is that our physical and mental are both benefit.
  In modern time, Recreational activities have many kind. These make us to choose how is good for us. In these recreational activities, Not all are good for us. Some are benefit to us,But some are not. For instance, Exercise are very good for us. This sport make people feel healthy and full of energy. Drug are not desirable. That make our body damage and our life  no order.
  As a college student, I think we must study goos things, that make us damage must abandon. our college students' image impact the all society. If we don't consider other people's feeling, other peolpe will think we should do that that like them. In the end, I wish our society peolpe study a positive point, abandon a damage point.

In the era of information and technology, there
are all kinds of recreational activities. Some people think those recreational activities are great and necessary, because they can help people relax from the hard work and study. Some of the activities, such as hiking, jogging, can help people relax physically; while some of them, such as surfing the Internet, can help people relax mentally.

However, some people think that so many kinds
of recreational activities may have a bad effect on our lives. Some people may not resist some temptations from those activities, and indulge themselves in those activities. At last they are lured away from their study or their
work.

In my opinion, we should pay more attention to the advantages of various recreational activities and make the most of them. Meanwhile, we should learn how to use those activities positively, and make them a helpful tool for our development.
