The Celebration of Western Festivals

 

I didn't remember when we began to celebrate the western festivals, but I know that more and more people like to celebrate it, especial for the young preson. At the Saint Valentine's Day, Christmas, you can find more people take part in the party to celebrate the fastivals, some of our city become more jollification than the western city.

 

Why does it happen? At first, more and more foreigner come to our country, and they also bring their culture and habitude into our country. The second, we have more chance to find their western festivals from the TV, newspaper and so on. The third, more young person have interesting in the new things, and they like to do the new things too. The forth, we didn't pay attention to our conventional festivals.

 

Although the western festivals keep us enjoying, we also find they effect and change our living. I didn't know whether we will forget our conventional festivals in futrue or not. And I also afraid we will be uniformed by the foreign culture. It is another aggression, a culture aggression. It's lucky that our state already find it, and we will also have holiday at the day of conventional festivals, we also have chance to hold the big party to celebrate our festivals.

 

In fact, we needn't to afraid the western festivals instead of ours. Becasue every position has his convention and culture, and all of them are the base of the festivals. But we should remember and make progress of our festivals.

Saint Valentine's Day,Christmas,have you ever heard these festivals,I think the answer is yes.It is unknowned when started,the christmas is popular in college, the youth grasped the rose on every saint valentine's Day night. On my view, the chief reason lead the performs is the effort of the western culture, as the opening of china and the internet was developing, the western culture filter into china step by step. The most important transport tool is the media, then the chief receivers are the college students,lots of them feel the western culture is advanced, they like the werstern' romantic they called themselves. So they rise the rose, they celebrate the christmas. But we forgot ourselves' tranditional festivals,even drop ourselves' culture.We must know we are Chinese,we are different with the westers,our ideas are distinguishing,we can't follow them completely,and the even their concepts much were corrupt, they will corrade our youth generation. So we should hold our festivals and abundance them, then we can exhibit our country to the world.

The Celebration of Western Festivals

 

With the development of society, more and more communication between the Orient and Occident include culture, economy,technology and so on.Many people go aboard and others go into China. They bring a lot of Western culture continuously and we are rediscovering the world.Why is it so?

 

On the one hand ,many people accept the fresh things especially young peple.They like western festivals' culture, They will celebrate them when they coming.

On the other hand, due to this reason, the gumptious merchant grasp the business opportunities to vast publicize these Occident culture,thus they can get the great profits.But if we publicize these western festivals greatly, we will lose interest in our traditional festivals.

 

 I think we should strengthen publicize ours, let young people rocognize ours first. It is useful  for young generation publiczie our country,promotion our country force in the world.Let more and more foreigner know and visit our country.

With the development of society, people nowadys are much familiar with western festivals. The young generation are even crazy about them. It is a result of cultural assimilation, which is both benificial and harmful to our nation.

With the opening policy, people in our country have a good knowledge about the lifestyle and customes abroad. It is definitely good for us to do business with foreign companies. And the distance between foreigners and our nation is likely to shorten. As a result of global nationalization, our culture and customes can be accepted overseas.  

At the same time, it might goes too far. some young people like to celebrate western festivals, and know the histories of them, but know little about our cultural festivals. It is really a pity for our nation. That is the backward brought by culture assimilation: the lost of our own culture.

In my opinion, our government should pay more attention to this phenomenon. We should respect foreign culture and learn from them, but never lose ours. What's more, we should advocate and publicize our festivals in our country and abroad. That's the way to protect our culture in the trend of culture assimilation.

    Recently,many of Chinese people are prefer celebrate western festivals to Chinese festivals.Such as

april fools' day，Merry christmas day,foreign new year's day and so on.

    There are several  remarkable reasons.Firstly,due to the life are become more and more comfortable.The people all over the china have enough time and money.So they can spent their time to celebrate all of the festival no matter how it is Chinese's festival and foreign festival.Secondly,uder the stress of our work.in order to relax ourseves people willing to find out all kind of festival as our excuse to celebrate.

   However,some effects will be emergence under this situation.Firstly,the transportation will be crowd during the festival.So the death rate will be rising quickly.

The Celebration of Western Festivals Now more and more people celebrate western Festivals , like Christmas Day ,Easter Sunday, Valentine's Day, especially in young people, .foreign company , supermarket etc. Why it happens ? Because the development of society, culture demand. But now it bring some business purpose to factory ,market. .............

The Celebration of Western Festivals

 

Nowadays the western festivals are become more and more popular. Even many young people take it for vogue.

 

In the western festivals , people usually celebrate them by send someone presents which can bring benefit to the merchantmans. So the businessman try their best to disseminate the wsetern festivals.This is one of the reason of western festivals beaome popular.

 

And another reason is as follows. Many familys will have reunion on these days .Take mothers' day and fathers' day for example , sons and daughters will give their best regar to fathers and mothers and do their possible to go home to have a good day with their parents.

 

The last reason is the TV program. Nowsdays so many western movies on TV that more and more people knowen the western countrys . Even accept their culture.

 

As the coin have two sides. This phenomena can make people know about western people and imbibe their distillate but also bring some problems .
