【新闻汉译英】研究：出生月份影响当运动员的几率(2月9日)

有朵友提出说这里的汉英翻译差异太大，在这里我想解释一下，其实在这里版块我更多注重的是让大家学习地道的英语怎么说，也就是说在大家看着汉语想去翻译成英语的时候，更多的应该去想如何用英语地道的说出这个意思，当然，很多人也许还没有达到这个程度，但是也是可以尝试一下的，大家在做完自己的翻译后对照答案，能够学到一两个地道的词汇和词组，这样就达到我的目的了。

与英国九月份开学不同，澳大利亚的新学年从一月份开始。英国的研究发现秋天出生的孩子在体育运动方面取得成功的可能性更大，尤其在足球项目上。澳大利亚的这项研究与该发现具有相关性。

The new term  of Australia starts from January which is different form Britian where the new term starts from September.The research of Britain found that the chidren born in September has higher possibilites to have achivement in sports espically the football.The study of the Australia is relative to this research.

不過，這個研究早就有人戳穿過了。關鍵好象是選材的年限問題。因為出生月份而造成的入學時年齡過小或過大，就會影響到他被選進足球隊及會否被重用，從而影響他未來前途。
